| In 1997 the owner/ managers of F&D Scene Changes Ltd. of Calgary, Alberta recognized the need to establish a shop which could provide the same high production values customers had come to expect, yet that also had ready accessibility to the North American Eastern Seaboard. Since that time, Dave Stevens, a partner of F & D Scene Changes, has been charged with the establishment and operation of this new division. Located in a 30,000 square foot facility in Burlington, Ontario, we are only minutes away from two international airports and several US border crossings. Our shop is completely equipped for both large and small projects. We have the space and means to pre-assemble and set-up units for testing and presentation prior to leaving our shop. Now in its 8th year of business, the company has fabricated and installed products throughout North America and internationally for a variety of clients such as Clear Channel Exhibits (“Titanic – The Artifact Exhibit” North America and Europe), numerous Broadway shows, (Fosse, Follies, Metamorphoses – to name a few), theming and parade floats for major theme parks, as well as trade show, retail and display clients. We derive our success from the close working relationships we establish with our clients. Involvement can often begin right from the conceptual stage through construction to installation. With each phase we offer a range of services and talented staff to ensure distinct material advantages and superior conceptual realization while meeting the financial, technical, and scheduling realities of a project. Simply put, Great Lakes Scenic Studios is a company that utilizes the best of creativity and ingenuity to generate solutions that exceed our customer’s expectations. |
